What to Expect at BOOM Healing
During counselling at BOOM Healing, clients will experience focused and compassionate listening. We help clients deepen their awareness around issues and challenges which will inform solutions and promote healing.
When it is welcome, we will teach you skills to enhance your ability to regulate and cope with life’s ups and downs. Our founder and therapist Amanda is pragmatic, and as such can effectively support you with goal setting, goal achieving, and making changes in your life. She is a trauma informed counsellor and can help you heal the tough behaviours, triggers, and reactions that result from traumatic experiences and/or difficult childhoods. At BOOM Healing we take a holistic perspective to health and healing that considers the body, mind, environment, relationships, and if it is a fit for you, the spiritual world.
About Your Practitioner
Counselling at BOOM Healing is conducted by our founder Amanda Ward.
Amanda is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) as well as a Certified NeurOptimal® Neurofeedback Trainer.
