LAUREN PESARCHUK, RMT
Hello, I am Lauren Pesarchuk and in my RMT practice, I am passionate about helping my clients feel and live better. I have been a massage therapist for over a decade. Friends and clients would describe me as approachable, authentic, and down to earth. I am also a cancer survivor, mom, dancer and forest lover. I draw inspiration from new research on pain, trauma informed therapies, therapy for the head and TMJ, breathwork, contact improvisation and the spirit world – hence why I fit so well at BOOM Healing. Like you, I have been through a lot in life and can truly meet you where you are at and help you feel seen through massage. In a world that is so focused on do, do, do, do – I will help you ‘be’ too. One key theme I notice and share with my clients is that we all want to make the world a better place and to cultivate peace. I would love to help you!

Origins
I originally started my education wanting to know how the world works, hence why I have BA in Political Science. After travelling the world, I realized that what is happening inside us is much more interesting to me. Being an RMT allows me to continue to discover how our bodies function and to help my clients thrive.
How I Help
I love helping my clients feel more comfortable in their bodies, heal faster, sleep better and move easier with confidence. I create a safe and body-positive space for my clients that ensures they are fully supported and valued. I work from a trauma-informed approach that empowers clients to find moments of healing through touch, breathing, and body awareness education. I can help with various issues and have a special passion for cancer recovery, anxiety/depression, stress, headaches, whiplash, back pain, frozen shoulder, TMJ issues, pregnancy and postpartum, and chronic pain. I use a number of massage techniques in my work including deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and joint mobilization.

Why I Love What I Do
Healing the world is my purpose in life. Of course, we need to start with ourselves. Healing from any life stress is a combination of effort and pauses. It’s not linear. After my cancer journey I felt weak. To cultivate positive strength, I practice acts of kindness, joy, and peace and massage is my way of sharing it with others. Massage therapy also fulfills the science nerd part of me that loves learning about physiology, cell biology, anatomy and new research on healing.
